πŸ₯€ Struggling with cylinders? This workshop is a game-changer

Let's get to the bottom of our pottery problems.

Ok, if the lines above don't resonate for you- that's fine! We have more workshops for you Happy Intermediates coming soon. You can read on- or keep scrolling your inbox.

...Now that it's just us on the struggle bus-
Ever had one of those days at the wheel where everything just seems... off?

You sit down, ready to create, and suddenly it's like you've forgotten how to center. Or maybe you manage to center, but when you start pulling up those walls, they're always too thin in the middle. Sound familiar?

I get it. I've been there too, and let me tell you, it can be incredibly frustrating.

Picture this: You're aiming for a tall, elegant cylinder, but halfway through, you realize your walls are twisting. Or worse, you spend what feels like forever trying to pull up those walls, only to end up with something that looks more like a soup bowl than the vase you had in mind.

It's exhausting. You put in all this time and effort, and sometimes it feels like you're just spinning your wheels (pun intended). You know you have the potential to create beautiful pieces, but these fundamental challenges keep holding you back.

So let's address those throwing problems once and for all.

This 3-hour intensive, happening THIS SUNDAY, September 22nd, from 10am-1pm EST, is designed to help you:

  • Master the art of pulling up walls evenly and confidently
  • Learn techniques for throwing bigger while maintaining control
  • Make pots more efficiently
  • Tackle shaping practice using ribs to get the forms you want
  • Achieve consistent wall thickness (say goodbye to the β€œthicker than I thought” syndrome!)
  • Develop strategies for more consistent progress in your pottery journey

Whether you're just starting out or you've been at the wheel for a while, this workshop will provide you with the tools and techniques to take your pottery to the next level.

Stay tuned, because over the next few days, I'll be sharing more details about what you can expect from the Confident Cylinders workshop.

Ans as always, hit reply if you have any questions.

Until then, keep your hands dirty and your spirit curious!
